This map is quite fun for 6-8 players...one must choose wisely on their attack/defense policies. Choosing the correct spot to place reserve units for defensive purposes is very key.
Very cool map. This reminds me of the old Utopia intellivision game...and that's a good thing. The limit on visibility and waypoints make for interesting strategies.
Solid simulplay board. Students of WW 2 will like it. SquintGnome makes good use of unit placement enabling here to make attack/defense decisions more realistic. I tend to feel a slight edge for the German side, but a sly and/or bold Russian player can take control often enough.
This is a "smart" players map. As many folks mention, the use of vision is very important. The bonuses allow for good starting balance. Every once in awhile, it's just a fun map to play.
This map favors intelligent play. Lots of options are available for winning...pacing is usually pretty quick. For games that become defensive struggles, be sure to grab a siege tank to remove bunker obstacles and/or remove your opponent's income.
Well-balanced, nice graphics and a fun map to play on either side. What's not to like? Steep initial learning curve, I guess. One finds new avenues of attack/fortify each game.
